On September 15th, the official presentation of ITALEA FVG was held at the Loggia del Lionello in Udine during the lively atmosphere of Friuli DOC, the annual food and wine event that aims to celebrate the culinary excellence, fine wines and cultural traditions of the Friulian territory.
The event was divided into speeches by experts and representatives of the institutions, such as: Venanzi, deputy mayor of the Municipality of Udine; Mauro Bordin, President of the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia; Cristina Lambiase, regional coordinator of Italea Nazionale; Loris Basso, President of Italea Fvg; Franco Iacop, President of Ente Friuli nel Mondo; Mariano Zufferli, Vice-President of the Slovenian Emigrants Union of FVG; Pamela Rabaccio, representative of the Giuliani nel Mondo association.
The initiative aims not only to promote the cultural and landscape heritage of Friuli Venezia Giulia, but also to create a bridge between past and present, offering Friulian emigrants and their descendants a key to rediscover their origins.
