The experience

The landscape is not a neutral environment. The landscape lives on the network of relationships, faces, memories, houses and churches, past and memory. ROOTS TO SEE – rediscover the places of home is an activity designed specifically for you and those with a desire to find the lost sense of home in places of origin.

The activity is an immersive experience in the native landscape, retracing and visiting places far from large centers, landscapes that still retain traits of the past, echoes of ancient memories.

The activity involves on the one hand the naturalistic excursion of places of origin, and on the other hand the poetic sharing on the sense of place and identity belonging by a storyteller: here by retracing on foot the ways of the ancestors, ancient mule tracks and paths, you can reclaim lost, abandoned, and sometimes forgotten places, creating new sap that nourishes your connection with home.

The entire activity is led by a FVG licensed nature guide and a root storyteller.

As a roots traveler who chooses one of the FEELING ROOTS activities, you will receive the Roots Diary. The Roots Diary is a portfolio designed to preserve memories, impressions, photographs, notes and notes of the journey of discovery of one’s origins. A tool that can accompany you throughout your journey, a guardian tool and witness to a truly unique experience for you.
