Territory, traditions and culture along the Judrio stream

The purpose of joining the project is to raise awareness in our territories on the issue of Italian emigration and roots travel and to create a targeted and integrated tourist offer aimed at roots travelers in the territories.
With the aim of supporting the productive activities of the territory, encouraging forms of eco-sustainable and responsible tourism, enhancing territories that are normally located outside the circuits of mass tourism.
To strengthen the link between our territories and the countless Italian communities abroad scattered all over the world.
Allowing the descendants of our migrants to reconstruct their family history by deepening their knowledge of their culture of origin On Sunday 16 June 2024 starting at 14.00 in Piazza Divisione Julia in Corno di Rosazzo it will become for one day: “The Piazza del Migrante”.
On the occasion of the day there will be 10 kiosks with wines from local wineries, a huge rotisserie with the delicacies of the grilled grill and of course you can also taste Montasio cheese and the famous San Daniele ham.
Throughout the afternoon the Bands of the Territory and choirs will perform, with folk groups and all the best known Friulian comedians (dialect and not).
Folklore will be the master of Piazza Divisione Julia, the heart of the municipality of Corno di Rosazzo.
The Municipality also undertakes to welcome any travelers from the roots with the Mayor or other institutional figure.
In the same way, it undertakes with its staff and above all through the Tourist Promotion Office to satisfy any request that may come from Italians abroad both for any workshops to be carried out in the spaces owned by the municipality including the material to be used, and for genealogical or historical, socio-anthropological research of fellow villagers who have migrated abroad.
