Starting Dec. 13, the new podcast “Ricorda, Ritorna, Radica,” a project by Italea Friuli Venezia Giulia designed to embark on a fully immersive journey between memory, identity and belonging, within which the stories, traditions and ties that unite Friulians around the world will be told.
It is actually named after our association Ricorda, Ritorna, Radica:
- Ricorda: discovering the historical and cultural roots of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
- Ritorna: stories from those who left and chose to find their homeland again.
- Radica: stories from those who have been able to bring Friulian traditions and cultures to the world.
The podcast will be divided into two main strands:
- Six traditional fairy tales told to revive the stories, characters and values that make up Friuli’s cultural heritage.
- Six interviews with Italian-descendant Friulians, living on different continents, and collaborators of Italea FVG to explore their life experiences as custodians of Friuli’s roots abroad.
