The Municipality of Sagrado, assignee of the Call for the realization of cultural activities in favor of Italian-descendants in the world, has organized a series of unmissable events as part of the “2024 – Year of Italian Roots” project.
In collaboration with the Cikaleoperose association, these activities aim to create a deep bond between the participants and the history of their ancestors, through immersive poetic visits and guided walks to discover symbolic places of one of the darkest periods in the history of Friuli Venezia Giulia: the First World War.

The program of events intends to offer a unique experience that combines history, nature and culture, rediscovering one’s roots.
Calendar of Events:

An immersion in the history and memories of a tragic and significant event.
  • Sunday 14 July, 7:30 pm or Guided Tour at Dusk: A tour of the open-air museum of Monte San Michele, where participants explored the historical remains in the light of sunset, in the evocative and reflective atmosphere of the place.

In case of bad weather, the events will be postponed to a later date.
